Gluten-free sandwich bread: video lesson
NEVER underestimate the joy of a good old sandwich.
One might think the toughest part of following a gluten-free diet is recreating complex, refined dishes. In reality, the biggest disappointments often arise from the simplest moments: grabbing a quick snack on the road, eating at a new friend's house, or packing a sandwich that stays soft and satisfying until lunchtime. But as long as we rely on store-bought bread, we’re often stuck with small, dry, crumbly slices of bread that require over 15 ingredients just to hold together.
That’s why one of the first recipes I’m sharing with you is this sandwich bread. You know my approach: it uses only whole-grain flours, psyllium husks (if you’re unfamiliar with this fantastic plant, check out this article), and dry yeast.
